Warm, safe and friendly, Malta is the ideal place to brush up your English language skills. All Maltese speak English and many speak Italian, French and German apart from the mother language which is Maltese. The warm and welcoming nature of the people make it a natural location to develop and practice English language skills.
Malta is one of the richest countries in terms of historical sites. It boasts 5000 years of history. Students here can expect to learn about the history and culture of an island which is right in the centre of the Mediterranean. Strategically located between two continents, Malta played an important part in the history of the region.
The Future Focus work placement programme is flexible and designed to be tailor-made to the needs of students. Before coming to Malta, the staff at Future Focus will seek to cooperate with the student in designing the goals and schedule that will be effective for both the employer and the student. Future Focus wants to ensure that the student gets added value from the work placement.
We believe in an open policy. This is a key to effective programmes. Students want to know how well they are doing and we evaluate progress. We identify in which areas the student is doing well and in which areas more work needs to be done. The coordinator is available throughout the programme and the student will feed that he/ she can express freely their concerns if there are any suggestions to make the programme as effective as possible.
