Future Focus has been training health and fitness professionals in Malta over the past 3 years and becomes the first training provider on
the island to achieve CYQ approval. It is a member of the Malta Exercise Health and Fitness Association and has close links with most
health and fitness centres on the island. Future Focus is now accepting applications for courses that lead to selected CYQ qualifications;
the first of these courses started in September 2010.
CYQ offer over 40 recognised and respected qualifications, from introductory to advanced levels. There are over 350 CYQ centres delivering more than 30,000 certificates each year within the UK and internationally; CYQ has centres in a number of European countries, South Africa, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain. CYQ is also the official accreditation unit for the European Health and Fitness Association (EHFA). EHFA’s aim is to promote a recognisable European benchmark of quality for the health and fitness industry.
Mrs Galea, Managing Director of Future Focus said that, ‘The accreditation of Future Focus will increase opportunities for people interested in taking their first steps in this industry. It will also help employees who want to develop their careers. We are committed to providing valuable training. Successful students will be able to work locally and abroad with these qualifications. This is a guarantee of quality for our graduates. It is also our intention to market Malta as a destination for these courses in other countries’.
