This course gives you the necessary
skills for effective oral and written communication in English in any
professional situation. Specialist course materials help you practise English in
business contexts such as making presentations, telephoning, handling facts and
figures and attending conferences in any field including Marketing and
Advertising, Finance and Accounting or Management and Planning. You also become
familiar with the language and vocabulary needed to socialise with colleagues
and business associates.
Specialist teachers with
qualifications in law can design a course for law students and lawyers. This
combines General English and English for Law. Lessons include dialogue and
reading exercises, illustrating the most typical usages of legal English and
different aspects of English law. Many courses include a visit to the law
courts.
In addition, specialised courses
deal with one particular area of expertise and the English required to practise
it. Courses include Medical English, English for the Hotel and Catering
Industry, English for Engineers, English for bankers and English for Insurance.
