Getting to Future Focus
Floriana is on the bus route into Valletta. You can get to Future Focus by bus from any area in Malta. Get on the bus heading to Valletta. You will know that you are getting into Floriana when you see the Portes des Bombes. Ring the bell in the bus and get off at the next bus stop. You have to cross the busy St Anne Street and you should do this at the traffic lights. On the main Road, bordered on either side by the Floriana arcades you will see a pharmacy called Chemimart and further up on the corner a take away called Chick King. Turn into the square and we are right at the end of the square. This square is also known as the policlinic square – it is a corner building with a large green door. There is a sign on the door with the name Future Focus.
Portes des Bombes
If you make a mistake and end up in Valletta instead, do not panic. You can easily walk back – around 10 minutes on foot from the bus terminus.
If you come by car, you should make sure that you have a parking meter. Most areas allow parking of 2.5 hours. Do not risk leaving your car without a meter.
No meter is required in the late afternoons and evenings.
The only airport in Malta is Luqa airport – there is no airport in Valletta. Taxis are available 24 hours a day from just outside the airport building. Pick up can however be arranged with Future Focus provided you inform administration office at least 3 working days before arrival. You can also use the public transport service at the airport.
